A rare observing evening took place at the sports ground, organised by Tim & Peter after a couple of false starts due to cloud.

A small group took their equipment and surprisingly, the clouds cleared stayed away.

Activities in the sports hall finished at 8pm so a good evening was had by all.

Warden Hodges said – “Put that light out !”
but note the interesting lens diffraction ray diagram first… 😉 !
